A Cleaner Sea, Together: Italtel’s Commitment to Sustainability

We are proud to share an important milestone in our sustainability journey: thanks to Italtel’s support for Ogyre’s plastic fishing project, we contributed to the recovery of 100 kg of marine waste from our seas.

This achievement is more than just a number; it is a tangible sign of our dedication to protecting the environment and the communities where we operate. The project, which actively involves 9 local fishermen, has not only led to the collection of marine waste but also to the recycling or reuse of 15 kg of materials, preventing the dispersion of approximately 5 kg of microplastics into the environment annually.

Partnering with innovative organizations like Ogyre provides a meaningful opportunity to make a difference, fostering positive change for the planet. Initiatives like this allow us to raise awareness about the importance of safeguarding natural resources while supporting ethical labor practices: 100% of the fishermen involved are treated fairly, creating both environmental and social benefits.
