Italtel for the environment: our new partnership with Ogyre for a cleaner Sea

We are very pleased to announce an important initiative that demonstrates our ongoing commitment to environmental protection. To mark the Mediterranean Day, we have partnered with Ogyre, an innovative start-up dedicated to collecting marine litter through a global network of fishermen.

Thanks to the recent international study funded by the European Space Agency, it was possible to monitor plastic pollution in the Mediterranean Sea. Satellites from the European Union’s Copernicus program detected a 20-kilometer-long strip of plastic, highlighting the severity of the problem we are facing.
